Five-city nationwide tour brings expert designer and crew to refresh an uninspiring space with the muse of a sleek Hunter fan

August 3, 2017 – Memphis, TN – Hunter Fan Company, the leading manufacturer of ceiling fans, improving home comfort for over 100 yearscrosses off the first stop on the brand’s five-city Huntervention Tour, and hits the road en route to the residence of the next deserving homeowner. Hunter is calling all homeowners with a space in need of a little design TLC to enter the nationwide summer campaign for a therapeutic session with the brand’s home intervention team. Coined a Huntervention, the contest will give lucky homeowners a complete room makeover. Equipped with a sleek new Hunter fan and staffed with a dedicated Hunter design expert and supporting crew with a few tricks up the sleeve, the team brings to life a thoughtful design over the course of a weekend.

When designing a space, it’s common to draw inspiration from an accessory, like a piece of art or textile. “At Hunter, we like to think that a ceiling centerpiece can also be a compelling and unexpected muse for a space,” said Patrick O’Connell, brand design director at Hunter. “There’s nothing better than that ah-ha moment when someone sees how a fan can transform a space, it’s eye candy in an otherwise unimaginative space.  We’re having a blast sharing our passion for fans and working closely with homeowners to bring their personal style to life for an inspiring new space.”

With fan models inspired by global travel and thoughtfully curated for every style, space and lighting need, highly sought-after styles from Hunter’s 2016/2017 product launches will adorn each Huntervention makeover. Featured fans, among others, will include the Hepburn, flaunting a distinctive nod to retro-modern and accented with an eye-catching globe lamp, the rustic-chic damp-rated Mill Valley, a stylish addition to any outdoor space and finally, Hunter’s most innovative SIMPLEConnect Wifi-enabled fans, compatible with both Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa, ideal for the connected-savvy user.

Allow Hunter to visit your home this summer and create an inviting one-of-a-kind room featuring an on-trend and functional Hunter fan. Whether a space desperate for a complete design overhaul or a room stuck at a design roadblock, Hunter Fan Company encourages eager homeowners to visit through October, to submit their room and share why they are deserving of a refresh. ELEVATE Design Collective Unveils Signature Pantone Color in Custom Urban Loft during New York Design Week

NEW YORK (May 18, 2016) – On Tuesday, May 17 the ELEVATE Design Collective, a first-of-its-kind alliance of six industry-leading home design brands, hosted an exclusive event to unveil the ELEVATE custom Pantone color in a distinct urban loft. Designed by interior designer Jennifer Wagner Schmidt in collaboration with the ELEVATE Design Collective brand designers, the loft showcased custom products from Delta Faucet Company, Formica Corporation, Hunter Fan, JELD-WEN®, KitchenAid® and Schlage®, each touting the new signature ELEVATE PANTONE® Color: Single Malt.

Aiming for a modern, stylish color that is equally soft and calming, the brands’ lead designers worked collaboratively with the Pantone Color Institute™ to create a rich, neutral hue to set the tone rather than dominate the room. Blurring the line between natural and man-made, the Single Malt color boasts a distinctive warm and rustic shade to evoke the essence of simple indulgences like cognac, whiskey and cigars as well as the aromatic notes of leather and coffee.

Each brand incorporated the Single Malt color into a unique selection of products resulting in a suite of signature accents to outfit the ELEVATE urban loft space. Schmidt drew inspiration from Scandinavian designs with clean whites, sharp blacks and a mix of modern and organic lines, textures and materials. Mary Jo Peterson, an interior designer with kitchen design expertise, collaborated with Schmidt to ensure the overall aesthetic translated into a supremely functional kitchen.

Schmidt, owner of JWS Interiors said, ―I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with a group of such innovative brands to shake up the design space and transform home accents—from faucets, kitchen appliances and countertops to door hardware, doors and fans—into design statements. My vision for the loft was to use the accent pieces as the starting point and really allow that to drive the color story while keeping the overall aesthetic chic, timeless and luxurious.

In the heart of the home, the open concept kitchen features striking countertops made of modern and sophisticated large-scale 180fx® by Formica Group laminate in a custom Bourbon Trail marble design. KitchenAid appliances including the 36‖ Multi-Door Freestanding Refrigerator, Single Wall Oven with Even-Heat™ True Convection and 44 dBA dishwasher—all in black stainless—provided smart features and unmatched performance. Rounding out the design, the Delta® Trinsic® Pro faucet in a brushed steel finish delivers the flexibility and industrial style of a professional chef’s faucet and the convenience of Touch2O® Technology, which turns the faucet on or off with just a touch. The Delta Ara® Collection introduced a contemporary bathroom design with angular silhouettes found in the faucet and showerhead.

Peterson, owner of Mary Jo Peterson, Inc. said, ―With the open concept layout, creating supreme functionality in a kitchen fit for a chef while maintaining a warm and inviting design aesthetic was
paramount for the loft design. Each brand customized a selection of its top products to bring together the ultimate in form and function in the space.

The living room features the beautifully-crafted Ronan ceiling fan while the bedrooms showcase the contemporary Sentinel and the modern Apple HomeKit Symphony smart fans—all three engineered to perform and designed to inspire by Hunter Fan. Creating a cohesive feel, each room was outfitted with doors from the JELD-WEN MODA™ Door Collection, including a custom three-panel barn door leading to the kitchen pantry. Each interior door was then outfitted with Schlage’s decorative Northbrook Lever with Upland rose in Matte Black to carry the design theme in every detail throughout the home.

Additional product sponsors that contributed to the ELEVATE Design Collective loft include Maxton™ and Cornell™ Maple cabinets from KraftMaid, Italian Alps ceramic wall tile from Daltile, a Brisbane Collection sink from Oliveri and Ultra Pure White interior paint from Behr. The loft also features a wireless multi-room audio system with S2 and S2R speakers from Polk Audio’s Omni Collection.

Industry-Leading Home Design Brands Create First ELEVATE Design Collective

CARMEL, Ind. (April 7, 2016) – A first-of-its-kind alliance, the ELEVATE Design Collective, was announced today to bring together six industry-leading home design brands Delta® Faucet CompanyFormica CorporationHunter FanJELD-WEN®KitchenAid® and Schlage®, to highlight home accents within home style and interior design conversations. Anchored in design trends from top industry designers, the ELEVATE Design Collective creates a prominent voice for style-oriented brands in the interior design space. The Design Collective will provide design-driven insight and inspiration to interior designers, architects and remodelers.

Collaborating to transform home accents — from faucets, kitchen appliances and countertops to door hardware, doors and fans — into design statements, the ELEVATE Design Collective partnered with the Pantone Color Institute™, a color research and information center recognized throughout the world as the leading source for color information, to create a signature ELEVATE color. Based on the brand designers’ insights into upcoming home trends, the ELEVATE Pantone color will be incorporated into a collection of custom products from the participating brands and unveiled at an exclusive launch event in a NYC urban loft space during New York Design Week. Together, the ELEVATE Design Collective will showcase the power of utilizing home accents to create a cohesive and unique design aesthetic.

“We are very excited to partner with the ELEVATE Design Collective as truly innovative brands have come together with a unique design vision,” said Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute. “At the Pantone Color Institute, we are committed to providing brands a greater understanding of color to help tell their story; the vision captured within the ELEVATE Design Collective is reflective of color and interior design trends brands and designers are seeing in the home space.”

The vision to create the ELEVATE Design Collective began with Schlage, a brand of Allegion that has created stylish, innovative door hardware products for more than 95 years. Schlage recognized the opportunity to bring like-minded, home accent brands together to make a larger contribution to the interior design industry and educate influencers and consumers alike on the latest styles and trends in home design.

“We are thrilled to kick off year one of the ELEVATE Design Collective and feel a strong alliance with each brand in our effort to bring home accents to the forefront of the design and style conversation,” said Tamara Douce, influencer marketing manager, Schlage. “A home’s style is created and defined in the details. Well-chosen pops of color, texture, placement and functionality make a home reflective of the homeowners’ personal taste. It is our goal to empower interior designers, architects and remodelers to feel confident in making those design choices.”

The ELEVATE Design Collective will be supported with a dedicated microsite offering a behind-the-scenes look at the NYC urban loft project, and the brand designers’ inspiration and insight into the creation of the custom ELEVATE Pantone color.
